This outstanding second release was matured in a select first fill tawny port oak barrel, a little bolder and dryer than its first release sherry cask cousin, this single malt whisky is wonderfully smooth. Strong barrel flavour relinquishes its hold on your palette to deliver a lingering port finish. Rich in colour and at a 45% ABV this whisky is remarkably complex for a 2 year old whisky. Maturation in Australia’s tropical north is fast but the colour and notes of this whisky display the uniqueness of the Territory. These rare, second release bottles are individually numbered.
